These strips measure PH, KH (carbonate hardness), GH (general hardness), nitrite, nitrate and chlorine.

We recommend testing your water at least once per week. With liquid test kits this can be very time consuming. The speed and and ease of using these test strips makes it far more likely that you will maintain regular testing particularly when dealing with multiple tanks.

Dip a strip in the water and swirl gently for one or two seconds. Shake off excess water and leave for 60 seconds. You can then compare the colours shown on the test strip to those on the colour chart to obtain the results.
