Lobelia Cardinalis
Lobelia Cardinalis is a very hardy plant making it an ideal choice for beginners.
The plant that you receive will have been grown out of water. Once it converts fully to its submerged form the leaves will turn a bright green and the red colours will fade. If allowed to grow tall enough to grow out of the aquarium, the leaves above the water will regain their red colour and scarlet flowers may form.
This plant is also suitable for garden ponds.
We recommend using root tabs with this plant but it will also benefit from liquid fertiliser.
