One of the easiest plants available. Hygrophila Polysperma grows incredibly quickly in almost any environment.
The plant will thrive in any light level and has no specific nutrition requirements but will perform better with the addition of some liquid fertiliser.
Regular trimming is required to prevent this plant from crowding out other plants.
The plant will grow both vertically and horizontally with the horizonal shoots rooting to the substrate and producing new plants.
The fast growth makes it a great choice if you're looking for a plant to control nitrate in your aquarium.
