In terms of quality of ingredients, these wafers from Fluval are very hard to beat. They are a great option if you're looking to feed your fish the very best.

Designed to recreate the natural diet of fish, this premium food combines insects with algae along with various other high quality ingredients.

These wafers can be fed as an occasional supplement to boost health and appearance or can be fed daily as a staple food.

The wafers are designed to hold up for a long time before breaking down in the water. This gives slow grazing fish plenty of time to eat the food before is decomposes.

Lots of bottom dwelling fish will only eat at night so we would recommend feeding after lights out.

The manufacturer states that you should only feed as much as your fish will eat in two minutes. However, Plecos in particular are slow grazers who can take hours to consume their food. In our testing we have found that these wafers can remain in the aquarium for a very long time before they disintegrate. Therefore we would suggest removing uneaten food the following morning.
