EHEIM ThermoControl e heaters are incredibly accurate and reliable. They are built to last using a special laboratory glass which is highly resistant to changes in temperature.

ThermoControl e heaters also include a safety shut off in case they are accidentally left on during water changes.

The "e" in the product title indicates that these heaters are electronically controlled rather that the old style of mechanical thermostats. The temperature is still set in the same way by rotating the dial at the top. The electronic control provides greater accuracy and reliability and removes the need for the calibration ring which featured on the older models.
