One of the most popular plants in the aquarium hobby for many years due to its fantastic looks and ease of care. Amazon Swords can be planted as a stunning centrepiece.
The plant can grow very large reaching heights of around 50cm with long, broad leaves.
When planting be sure to give this plant plenty of space to grow. Also take care not to place near smaller plants where it may end up growing over them and shading them from light,
It is a very undemanding plant that will thrive even in low lighting. Occasional pruning of old leaves will encourage new growth.
These plants are heavy root feeders so we recommend using root tabs and replenishing them frequently.
