Cholla Wood is great for use in Shrimp tanks. 

The wood will gradually break down over a period of 7 months to 2 years. This process encourages a bio film to develop which is a very important part of a shrimp's diet.

Cholla wood also releases tannins which is beneficial to both shrimp and fish alike.

When first put into the tank it will float but will sink after 24-48 hours. You can speed this up by boiling it for 3 minutes before placing it in the aquarium.

As this is a natural product, the item that you receive may differ slightly in size and appearance.
