3D Background - VM Aquatics

Our 3D aquarium backgrounds will instantly transform the look of your aquarium. They have a premium look and feel to them that we haven't been able to find anywhere else.

Brown rock will look great in a Cichlid tank or as a great contrast to the green colours in a planted aquarium.

40-60mm thickness adds a sense of depth to these natural looking backgrounds.

They're easy to cut to size using a hacksaw or Dremel.

Some aquariums have a centre brace that would make it impossible to install a background in one piece. This is one reason why the larger options are made in 2 parts. It's important to check that the background will fit through the top of your aquarium before ordering.

**We have recently been made aware that the backgrounds are often a few centimetres shorter in height than stated. The manufacturer has informed us that this is to ensure that there is space to fit the background into your aquarium to allow for glass thickness and minor mismeasurement.

All backgrounds come with a 2 year manufacturers warranty.

Our 3D backgrounds can be installed in an existing setup by simply removing a strip of substrate from the back of the aquarium so that the background sits on the bottom glass. You can then push the substrate back against the background to help to hold it in place.
Normally there is no need to attach the background to the glass but you can fix it in place using aquarium safe silicone if you prefer.

Please make sure that the background will fit between any supports at the top of your aquarium before you order. Most large backgrounds are available in 2 parts to make placement easier.

All backgrounds can be cut to size using a hacksaw or Dremel. Please carefully check your background before cutting as we cannot accept any returns once the product has been altered.

If your order contains other products from out website then you may receive 2 separate deliveries.

Delivery of our backgrounds normally takes 1-3 working days.
